Our Testimonials

We found Dan's company, dRemodeling, on Angie's List and contacted them with the phone number provided.  They took my info and Dan got back to me via email right away to schedule an appointment for Saturday (at our request).  He showed up as promised on Saturday, on time, and we discussed our project - a total remodeling of a small bathroom in a two story row house.  Three days later Dan sent us a proposal with price for the project plus a listing of additional prices for extra services such as door installation, etc...  After we accepted Dan's proposal, their designer intern sent us a questionnaire about what we are trying to accomplish.  He later responded with some suggestions for fixtures, tiles, and color schemes, which we were not particularly helpful to us.  Dan referred us to tile shop and online fixtures store - both offering us Dan's contractor discount.  They also created a very detailed floor plan diagrams with fixture locations, tile layouts, and measurements.  We also wanted wall tiles to run from floor to ceiling.  Dan explained that his proposal only covered tile work from floor to vanity level, and that floor to ceiling tiles would cost an extra $1,000.  After fixtures arrived and tiles were purchased, they got to work.  We moved out to our out-of-town apartment while they did the heavy work.  Two weeks later we come back to a nearly finished bathroom!  And the tiles look absolutely great!  Special kudos to Dan's tile installer!  The only fixtures they did not install are the ones we were slow to purchase.  Now that everything is complete, they asked for permission to come in to clean up construction trash and take few pictures of our new bathroom, which we of course welcomed.  During the demo, they identified some issues with my bathroom exterior such as stucco cracks and rotten support poles.  We tried to hire Dan to do this work as well, but he declined, citing that they focus on interior design.  No problem.  They do what they promise very well.  Overall, we are very satisfied with Dan's company, their work ethic, and responsiveness.

This 1920s townhouse located near the Philadelphia Art Museum was practically begging for a bathroom remodel. Originally furnished with a small, plastic shower and a mismatched material palette, this bathroom now boasts a spacious walk-in shower and beautiful custom gray cabinetry, with resplendent marble throughout. Even though there is only one window, the sunlight washes over the space in a wonderful balance that would brighten anyone’s morning routine.  Hexagonal tile and stainless steel hardware bring a modern touch to this otherwise timeless gray and white design and build project. Thanks to dRemodeling, the new space accurately reflects the owners’ personalities and is, without a doubt, a space to be proud of.
