Ornate Travertine Bathroom

The client wanted to create a lavish and luxurious feel in this small bathroom. Travertine was used on the floors, shower walls, and halfway around the perimeter of the room. The patterned tile lent itself beautifully to the client’s seashell theme, with small fossils and shell petrified in the stone, creating a fascinating effect. The fixtures were selected in a traditional style, white for the toilet and sink, and brass for the faucets and accessories. They all featured ornate profiles, adding to the luxurious and expensive feel of this small bathroom.

A large walk-in shower is featured with angled corner to facilitate flow, and corner shelves for storage of shower items. A glass shower enclosure with minimal framing was included to create an illusion of openness in the space as well.
