How to get that Mid-Century Modern look into your Kitchen

All of the classics - the Eames Lounge Chair, the Saarinen Tulip Dining Table, the Metal Wire Bertoia Chair - of Mid-Century Modern Design have been all the rage the last few years (more like last 60 years!).  With a recent client asking us to renovate her kitchen that is inspired by and acts as a modern backdrop for the furniture classics, we came up with three great design schemes that act as a perfect background to these inspired designs from the 50's and 60's. Mid Century Modern design is all about warm wood tones on a background of white and with pops of accent colors in black, naval orange, cobalt blue, and cherry reds (think like a Mondrian painting). These designs showcase a modern white palette with warm wood tones infused throughout the space with white textured surfaces. Since these designs are pretty neutral in nature, you can add accessories and color as needed to give it a punch of personality!
